The Final Chapter

The last few years have been a joy featuring your B&W senior images! But all things must come to an end, and I feel it’s time to retire Monochrome Seniors. Like many feature sites, the change in Instagram hashtags has made it difficult to feature images consistently. This challenge and being a dad of little ones again (surprise! If you didn’t know…I’m a dude…and now a dude with a five and eight-year-old), I cannot spend the time keeping Monochrome Seniors going.

As much as I have enjoyed featuring your images on Instagram, it doesn’t compare to my love for the print magazine. However, with every edition of Monochrome Seniors the Magazine, I bring in just enough to cover the expenses behind putting the magazine together. My goal was always to keep the cost as low as possible, but, as you know, it’s expensive to maintain a “business”.

That being said, I want ride off into the black and white sunset with one more edition of Monochrome Seniors the Magazine! The submission window will be open for one week only–from June 10th to the 17th. Submissions will be a flat $10.

I want to thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your senior photography over the years, and I hope you’ll consider submitting your images to take part in this final chapter!
